Open pan: bring a large pan of water to a rolling boil. Add the rice, steer, return to a medium boil and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with more boiling water.

Green food coloring (optional, for a more vibrant green color)
Instructions:
Rinse the Rice: Wash the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps to remove excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming too sticky.
Prepare the Pandan Leaves:
If using fresh pandan leaves, wash them thoroughly.
Knot the pandan leaves for easier handling and to release more flavor.
Cooking the Rice:
In a rice cooker or a pot, add the rinsed rice.
